I have already lost 21 pounds. Technically 9 of it I lost BEFORE surgery but still 6 days/12 pounds.

I wondered why my underwear were getting too big.

For those concerned, I am doing extremely well in my recovery. I was up and about quickly and now I feel like going out dancing.

Getting in liquids all day is easier but I dont think I would have been able to do it without the GymBoss (I am swearing by this thing and buying stock in the company). I’m feeling a little waterlogged though. I’ve been drinking a lot of water but not really switching it up. I’ve got to start drinking juices, crystal lights and isopures or I’m going to burn out on water.

I’ve been drinking light and fit smoothies and New Whey protein bullets for “meals” and am now s.l.o.w.l.y. making my way through strained bean and bacon soup now, which is a nice change. (Note: if you are going to do this… buy a thermos. Cold soup is not good.) I worry I’m going to have more of a problem getting proteins in than water. Drinking liquids all day, I forget to stop and switch out for a liquid with protein.

So that’s it for my little update. It’s about time for me to head to a support group meeting.
